The notorious, nihilistic film that has gained almost mythic status upon its original release 1972. The entire cast and crew were credited under pseudonyms, leading to rumors that the murders depicted were real. Tales existed of a supposed 3 hour version. Various cuts under various titles floated around until 2000 when the director finally came forward and was consulted on an official re-release with the cast and crew credited under their real names.
